Charli Charging is a Portland-based, innovative, Electric Vehicle (EV) charging service provider offering affordable, turn-key solutions for EV charging station installation and operation. Our strategy is centered on affordability, reliability, simplicity, accessibility and equity in access. Our mission is to enable the everyday driver to seamlessly transition to an electric vehicle by installing EV charging stations wherever cars live.
Making Access Reliable
Despite the superior economic, environmental, and performance benefits of electric vehicles, driving an EV is still not a viable option for everybody. The issue is simple: we need significantly more EV charging infrastructure.

Portland, Oregon
A city for the weird and experimental, Portland, Oregon’s largest city, sits on the Columbia and Willamette rivers, in the shadow of snow-capped Mount Hood. It’s known for its parks, bridges, and bicycle paths, as well as for its eco-friendliness, microbreweries and coffeehouses. The city hosts thriving art, theater, and music scenes. Long story short, Portland was the perfect storm to lead in overhauling our transportation infrastructure, and experiment with something new. Now, you don't have to wander far to find an electric option, between electric scooters, electric bikes, and a growing electric tram system.
Portland EV Scene
Researchers at the Indiana University School of Public and Environmental Affairs compiled a list of the most electric-car-friendly U.S. cities and Portland, Oregon, was at the top of that list.

Portland's policies are backed by a state government that's also enthusiastic about electric cars. Oregon was the first state to offer rebates for electric vehicle purchases. The city has a generous network of charging stations, including a block of parking spaces reserved for plug-in cars that are known as Electric Avenue. Oregon also participates in the West Coast Electric Highway project to create a network of charging stations linking the West Coast states.
Interestingly, Oregon is the only state to have appointed an Electric Car Czar. It also streamlined the process of installing home charging stations.
