At Charli Charging, we don’t just look for places to plug in, we also look for places that plug into their community. And Thunder Island Brewing Co. does just that.

Tucked away in Cascade Locks, Oregon with jaw-dropping views of the Columbia River Gorge, Thunder Island Brewing Co. is more than a place to grab a pint. It’s a space where neighbors gather, travelers pause, and good things get poured (literally and figuratively).

What makes them special?

They’ve got a rotating lineup of beers that feel like a love letter to Oregon’s wild heart, including favorites like the Post Hike Pilsner and their Juicy IPA. And if you’re hungry? Their Asian-fusion menu is full of bold flavor, local ingredients, and comfort that hits just right after a hike, a road trip, or a long week.

But what really makes Thunder Island Brewing stand out is how they show up for their community. During their “Community Nights,” $1 from every drink goes back to local nonprofits. That’s the kind of energy we believe in.

What we’re brewing together

This May, we’re teaming up with Thunder Island Brewing Co. to install four DC fast chargers on-site. That means you can charge your EV while you grab a bite, catch up with friends, or enjoy one of the best sunset views in the Gorge.

For us, it’s more than just infrastructure, it’s about building partnerships that support people, local businesses, and the planet.
