  • Vehicle Information: We collect your Vehicle Make, Model, and Year to optimize charging compatibility, troubleshoot hardware issues, and monitor service performance across different EV models.

Location Data

  • Approximate Location: The App accesses your network-based (coarse) location to display nearby EV charging stations. We do not store your real-time location history on our servers. (If utilizing our website, location data may be accessed via your browser under these same guidelines).

Photos and Videos

  • Photos: The App requests access to your device’s gallery or camera strictly to allow you to upload photos of your vehicle within the App based on your explicit interactions.

Diagnostics and Performance Data

  • Crash Logs: In the event of an application crash, we automatically collect crash data (such as stack traces) to troubleshoot bugs and maintain app stability.

  • Other App Performance Data: We collect diagnostic metrics and charging session logs (Station ID, start/stop times, energy delivered, and fees) to monitor system health.

Device or Other IDs

  • Device or Other IDs: We automatically collect unique identifiers (such as Android ID) for fraud prevention, security, and app performance analytics.

2. Data Sharing and Third-Party Disclosures

We do not sell your personal data. We only share user data with trusted service providers to operate our app services, including:

  • Analytics and Crash Reporting (Google Firebase): These third-party SDKs process Crash Logs, performance metrics, and Device IDs to diagnose technical issues.

  • Cloud Infrastructure and Hosting: Your account data is securely stored on external cloud infrastructure servers.

  • Station Hosts: Station owners can view reports regarding charging activities on their physical stations (showing session times, energy delivered, and revenue). These reports do not include your personal identity information; users are represented only by an anonymous numerical token.

4. Data Retention and Deletion Rights

We retain your personal account data (Name, Email, Phone, and Vehicle details) and charging history securely in our encrypted database to maintain your account continuity.

  • Account and Data Deletion Requirement: In compliance with Google Play User Data policies, you have the right to request the deletion of your account and all associated personal data at any time.

  • How to Request Deletion: You can request permanent deletion of your account and data by emailing us directly at support@charlicharging.com. Upon receiving your request, we will permanently delete your personal profile from our active databases, unless retention is legally required for transaction/billing audit history.
